My Wind Power Plant is a new government program providing co-financing for investments in home wind farms. People who install a home windmill will also be able to receive funding for energy storage. The subsidy for a home turbine cannot exceed PLN 30,000. PLN, and subsidies for energy storage cannot exceed PLN 17,000. zloty.

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) presented the assumptions of the My Wind Power Plant program. Its aim is to support investments in home wind farms. The pool of funds intended for co-financing wind farms is to be PLN 400 million.

My Wind Power Plant. What is the amount of the subsidy?

The money from the program can go to prosumers investing in home windmills with a maximum power of 20 kW and a maximum height of 30 m. The condition is that energy is produced for their own needs. Financing can also be obtained for an energy storage facility with a minimum capacity of 2 kWh accompanying the wind turbine.

The co-financed devices will have to be new and manufactured no earlier than 24 months before installation.

Financing for home wind farms will be available provided that the application is submitted in advance or a building permit is obtained.

Financing under the My Wind Power Plant program will be granted in the form of a subsidy of up to 50%. eligible costs of purchase and installation of home wind farms and energy storage facilities. The subsidy for a home turbine cannot exceed PLN 30,000. PLN (max. PLN 5,000/kW), while the subsidy for energy storage will not exceed PLN 17,000. zloty. Eligible costs may include expenses incurred for the preparation of project documentation (maximum 10% of eligible costs).

The My Wind Power Plant program is intended for natural persons who are the owner or co-owner of a residential building.

The beneficiary of the program should produce electricity for its own needs and – in the case of an on-grid installation – have a comprehensive agreement or an energy sales agreement regulating issues related to the introduction of electricity generated in the micro-installation into the network. However, co-financing is also possible for off-grid installations, i.e. those not connected to the public distribution network.

Obtaining support for a given investment from other public funds (except for thermal modernization relief) will not be eligible for participation in the Moja Wind Power Plant program. The co-financed wind micro-installation and energy storage should be located in residential buildings or on the plot of land where the residential building is located.

Co-financing will not be available for investments carried out in/next to buildings used seasonally, individual recreation buildings, summer buildings or farm buildings. Funding will not be granted if the business activity is conducted on an area exceeding 20%. total area of ​​the building.

The beneficiary of the My Wind Power Plant program will be obliged to operate the subsidized equipment in the location indicated in the application for at least 5 years from the date of subsidy payment.

Program implementation deadline

The My Wind Power Plant program is to be implemented in 2024-2029. It is expected to be possible to sign contracts by the end of 2028, and to spend the funds by the end of 2029.

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has not yet announced the start date of the recruitment process.
