New house designs appear on the website of the General Office of Construction Supervision from time to time, which can be downloaded and used free of charge. The initial idea was that there would only be designs for houses with an area of up to 70 m2, but the popularity of the idea meant that the Ministry of Development also allocated money to develop designs for larger buildings.
Several months ago, some rules related to the construction of single-family houses with an area of up to 70 m2 were simplified. Moreover, the Ministry of Development and Technology promised that people wishing to build such a small house for their own needs will be able to use free projects that will be available on the website of the General Office of Construction Supervision. The promised projects appeared and apparently met expectations, because Poles willingly download them. Following the trend, the ministry decided to expand the database of free projects to include larger houses.
– Free house designs up to 70 m2 turned out to be a real hit – almost 62,000 of them were downloaded. This prompted us to announce another architectural competition, this time for larger buildings that will better meet the needs of families.
