A cold shower at the end of the Nations League. Polish volleyball players defeated

In the last match of the third week of the Nations League, the Polish women faced the Chinese. Unfortunately, the Asians gave our players a solid volleyball lesson.

Thanks to the good play of the Polish national team, Stefano Lavarini's players were the slightest favorites in this clash. Currently, the white and red team is in second place in the Nations League table with a balance of 10-1. So far, our only defeat has been against Brazil, which is ahead of us in this ranking.

The Polish women squandered their advantage in the first set

This match started very well for the Polish national team. Since the score was 1:1, they won seven out of eight and gained six points (8:2). Unfortunately, at some point something went wrong in the white-red team's game. From the score to 14:9, the Chinese women won the next six balls and equalized the score, and then took the lead 16:17. Unfortunately, in the end, their rivals kept their cool and ultimately won 23:25.

In the second set, the Chinese women continued their effective play against the Polish team. The Asians scored points in series. First, they took the lead 0:3, then jumped from 2:3 to 2:6, and then increased their advantage to six points (3:9). With the score at 5:15, Stefano Lavarini asked for a break, but it was of no use because our rivals scored another ace.

The fast-paced Chinese girls gave the Poles a solid volleyball lesson

The Polish women had huge problems with finishing the attack, and when they tried to block, the Chinese women showed off their defensive play, which resulted in them gaining 11 points (8:19). Ultimately, this game ended with the score 15:25.

The third game was more even, as seen on the scoreboard – 5:5. Unfortunately, during this set, the Chinese women's advantage was visible again. From the score of 6:6, our rivals won five games in a row and again had a high advantage. Ultimately, this game ended with the score 19:25, and the entire match 0:3.

Although the Poland-China match was the last one in this phase of the VNL, the Polish women are not finished with the competition yet. Our volleyball players qualified for the finals, which will be held on June 20-23 in Bangkok, Thailand. Let us remind you that we will see the seven best teams and the host team there.
