A luxury hotel will be built in a controversial skyscraper
The Roma Tower skyscraper is at the design stage, but it is already known that a luxury hotel will be built there. It is supposed to be the best place of this type in Warsaw.
A luxury hotel will be located in Roma Tower, a controversial skyscraper developed jointly with the Archdiocese of Warsaw, which is being built in the very center of Warsaw. The president of BBI Development, the investor of the building, did not reveal the details, but assured that it will be one of the best hotels in the capital.
– The building will house a high-class hotel, I think the best hotel in Warsaw, which will be the hallmark of this place. – says Krzysztof Tyszkiewicz, vice-president of the management board of BBI Development SA, for propertynews.pl.
Roma Tower will be 170 meters high and will provide a total of over 55,000 sq m. m2 of office space. The building will have the characteristic form of two twin towers connected almost to the very top. A modern, glass form will dominate the southern part of Śródmieście. Together with Varso, which is being built nearby, the buildings will constitute new landmarks in the very center of the city.
– Roma Tower is our most important project in which we are committed wholeheartedly. It is currently at the design and concept improvement stage. – added Krzysztof Tyszkiewicz.
The president of the Roma Tower investor also added that it is extremely important for the company to respect the historic surroundings. The building is being built at the intersection of Emilii Plater and Nowogrodzka streets, in the immediate vicinity of the Parish of St. Barbara and downtown tenement houses. Interestingly, the investor believes that it is possible for the building to fit into the historic center of Warsaw.
The Juvenes-Projekt studio is responsible for the architectural design of the building.
