A scandalous attraction in Italy. Tourists can get married without clothes

From now on, the beach in Sardinia will become a paradise for naturists. The authorities decided to allow marriages to be performed completely naked.

Lack of clothing will no longer be an obstacle during the sacramental “yes”. From now on, tourists will be able to legally marry forever and ever, exactly as nature created them. Luigi Tedeschi, mayor of San Vero Milis in Sardinia, came up with an unusual idea to attract a specific group of visitors. It is here, on the Is Benas naturist beach, that you will be able to take advantage of the controversial attraction of “naked weddings”.

Wedding abroad

Many tourists dream of getting married in a unique place. Travel agencies' offers are increasingly tailored to young couples who want to organize their parties during exotic holidays. The special niche of naturists has not been forgotten either. From now on, they will also be able to get married on a picturesque beach without having to put on clothes. The mayor of San Vero Milis in Sardinia, Italy, surprised the public by authorizing so-called “naked weddings.” Young nudist couples will be able to legally say “I do” on Is Benas beach.

Naked weddings

There are over 30 beaches in Italy where you can practice naturism. Now fans of this type of holiday will be able to get married without clothes on Is Benas in San Vero Milis. “Sardinia is a real paradise for those who love living in close contact with nature,” says mayor Luigi Tedeschi, who is praised for his brave decision by circles working to promote the movement in Italy. The new regulations are intended to emphasize the free character of the island and attract more visitors. The extremely intimate nature of such ceremonies is also emphasized. “Naturism is not exhibitionism. If you're getting married naked, you don't post photos on social media. The photos remain with family and friends,” says Maurizio Biancotti, head of the press office of Anita, an association promoting naturist culture in Italy.
