Just after the first day of competition, the coach had to make an additional call-up.

The Polish Football Association announced the additional appointment of Michał Probierz before Euro 2024. Jakub Kałuziński will join the team. The footballer is to be an emergency replacement for Bartosz Slisz, who is currently struggling with health problems. However, during Monday's press conference, national team spokesman Emil Kopański revealed that the Atlanta United midfielder is still at the training camp. “Bartek is leaving for training at the moment. If there are any changes, you will be informed,” the journalists heard.

Nevertheless, the coach decided to use Kałuziński, who had not had the opportunity to make his debut in the senior national team so far. However, he is a regular member of the under-21 team. Normally, he is a player of Turkish Antalayspor, for which he played 35 times last season, scoring two assists. He joined the team from the Turkish capital last year after his contract with Lechia Gdańsk, then relegated from PKO Ekstraklasa, ended.

Jakub Kałuziński's career

Born in Gdańsk, Jakub Kałuziński joined Lechia Gdańsk as an 11-year-old. He went through almost all junior levels, ending with the first team of the team from the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. As of today, it is not known whether his joining the team will result in the end of Ślisz's adventure at the training camp, a player of Atlanta United from the American Major League Soccer.
