Polish archaeologists are conducting extraordinary research both in Poland and in many other regions of the world. They work not only on land, but also under water. They use modern research methods that allow conducting research in a way that will not damage the tested objects. Other modern research methods make it possible to reach knowledge that has so far been out of reach. And archeology itself is less and less a stereotypical “digging in the ground”, although the excavations themselves are unlikely to disappear soon.
