In the last Eurojackpot draw, there was a second prize. The lucky person will gain over PLN 4.5 million. Totalizator Sportowy informed where the lucky bet was placed.

“The new multimillionaire played at the Nasielsk Lotto point at ul. Młynarska 17. This is the first multi-million winnings recorded in 2024, and the highest ever won in Nasielsk,” Totalizator Sportowy reported.

The prize amount is PLN 4,451,000. PLN 674 50 gr. “Only” 90% will go to the winner. this amount, because you also have to take into account tax on prizes.

The lottery in Poland has some very spectacular examples of winnings. The highest-ever win in our country was won on August 12, 2022 in the Krotoszyn district. The lucky player became a multimillionaire, winning as much as PLN 213.5 million.

How to play Eurojackpot?

Eurojackpot is a numbers game organized in Europe, in which 18 European countries, including Poland, participate. The remaining countries are: Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Spain, Netherlands, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Italy, Hungary.

Tickets can be purchased at the same establishments that distribute Lotto game tickets. You can also play online or using a mobile application. The rules of the game are very simple:

  • We choose 5 numbers out of 50 and 2 numbers out of 10.

  • We cross out our numbers on the blank or play at random.

  • Only the total fulfillment of these conditions means winning the first degree.

  • There are also intermediate steps. If you manage to match five out of five numbers in the first pot and only one of the two numbers in the second pot, you can count on an average payout of PLN 700,000. euro.

  • If we match only five numbers from the first pot and none from the second pot, the average payout will be 120,000. euro.

  • It is possible to play only for one next draw.

There are 12 prize tiers in Eurojackpot. Those equal to or higher than EUR 10 million are paid in euros (at the player’s request in Polish zlotys), and the remaining amounts in Polish zlotys.
