The volleyball players of Asseco Resovia and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn started the seventh round of PlusLiga on Saturday. The two teams have met 52 times so far, of which the Rzeszów team won 33 times. After six matches, Giampaolo Medei’s team is in seventh place with ten points. In turn, Javier Weber’s players are two positions lower and have two points less.

Indykpol AZS Olsztyn came to Rzeszów for the match against Resovia with a weakened squad. Javier Weber could not use the services of Jakub Ciunajtis, who stayed at home due to illness. “Our libero is scheduled to return to training next week. In the second game, Defalco took his team into the lead. The American’s move caused panic among the opponents. The receiver appeared in the service box when the score was 3:3 and left when the score was 10:4. The Olsztyn team gained a few points of advantage (19:14), but they were unable to gain more. This game ended with the score 25:17.

In the third set, the picture of the game did not change. Indykpol AZS Olsztyn played in waves, but in the long run the volleyball players had problems to fight on an equal footing. The hosts won the third set 25:20 and the entire match 3:0.
