Bodnar’s important decision. “Inability of the National Prosecutor to perform his function”
Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar stated that Dariusz Barski is retired and cannot serve as the National Prosecutor. His reinstatement to active service was allegedly in violation of the regulations.
The Ministry of Justice issued a statement regarding “recognizing the reinstatement of prosecutor Dariusz Barski to active service as an act committed in violation of the regulations.” Therefore, he remains retired and cannot serve as the National Prosecutor.
