Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. We got to know the release date

Activision finally presented Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The next part of the hit shooter was shown in a mysterious trailer, and the developers revealed the exact release date of the title.

After a long wait, we finally got to know the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. In one of the first official materials, Activision shows a sketch of what we can expect from this year’s production by Sledgehammer.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Release Date and Teaser

The fact that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released this year has been an open secret for several weeks. However, Activision Blizzard, which released the production, kept a mysterious silence for an exceptionally long time. Perhaps this was the effect of difficulties related to the difficult process of acquiring the company planned by Microsoft.

However, Szydło finally came out of the bag (although it quickly hid back into it). The official Call of Duty channel has published a teaser trailer with Modern Warfare 3 in the title, informing that “MW III is coming”.

We don’t learn much from the material lasting less than 40 seconds. The green color scheme in the previous two games has been changed to blood red, and a narrator who sounds like Captain Price talks about “chopping off the heads of snakes”. The voice also advises “don’t bury your enemies while they’re still alive.”

The most important information is, of course, the release date of Modern Warfare 3, scheduled for November 10, 2023. We are to hear more about the production during a longer presentation of the game on August 17.

Modern Warfare 3 – fans divided

Online commentators, fans of the series and casual gamers seem to be strongly divided after the latest trailer. Some of them let their imagination run wild and speculate with excitement what classic characters from the “old three” may appear in the latest game.

Others point out that after the extremely successful reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision goes further and further away from what delighted the players in the extremely warmly received 2019 production. In their eyes, MW3 seems to be “a DLC expansion sold for the price of the full game”, and the company is their task focused on squeezing the last dollar from fans with more packs, add-ons and skins.

Will Modern Warfare 3 be a hit, or will it ruin the last chance it has with fans? We’ll find out in just a few months.
