Elon Musk went to CD Projekt with a gun. He wanted a role in Cyberpunk 2077

Elon Musk will create his own LinkedIn. The original is "embarrassing"

Elon Musk allegedly visited the Polish CD Projekt studio with a gun and demanded its inclusion in Cyberpunk 2077. An unusual incident during the recording session is revealed by Grimes in Walter Isaacson’s biography of the billionaire.

Walter Isaacson’s biography of Elon Musk has provided us with another absurd story with a billionaire in the main role. The richest man in the world was to visit the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 with a gun.

Elon Musk in the CD Projekt studio with a gun – he was supposed to ask about his role in Cyberpunk 2077

According to the description, the situation happened in the CD Projekt Red recording studio, before the release of Cyberpunk. Singer Grimes, then Elon Musk’s partner, was recording her lines – in the title she plays the role of music star Lizzy Wizzy.

Elon Musk was supposed to appear on site during one of the sessions. To the surprise and slight fear of those present, he pulled out a gun – it was a 200-year-old flintlock pistol. The billionaire then started asking if he could also be a character in Cyberpunk. It quickly became awkward.

“The people in the studio were sweating a lot,” Grimes recalled to the biography’s author. Musk himself, recalling the incident, will emphasize that he told everyone that “he is armed, but he is not dangerous.” Interestingly, Musk also later bragged about owning a flintlock weapon on X (former Twitter).

How did the incident end? Players starting their Cyberpunk adventure with a character with a corporate past may see one of the background characters who looks a bit like Musk. The hero may even yell at him.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty premieres on September 26

As we wrote in Wprost.pl, many new things are coming to Cyberpunk 2077. Update 2.0 is now available to all players and was unlocked on September 21. The release of the Phantom Liberty DLC is scheduled for September 26, 2023.

The most important changes include a new skill tree and a complete overhaul of the police system, but the huge patch will also include previously unseen weapons, including shoguns, SMG rifles and sniper rifles. New items will also reach ripperdocs, as players will also gain access to further modifications and implants – the game boasts, among others, new features for mantis blades that extend from the forearms. There will be as many as 100 new items in total.

The Phantom Liberty DLC will take us to a completely new district – the deserted and dangerous Dogtown. This is where the main plot of the expansion will take place, where, with the help of Solomon Reed, we will save the president of the New United States. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
