The entire internet is waiting for the MMA fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Although further details are emerging very slowly, both fighters are apparently serious about the fight in the Octagon. Understandably, this does not please Musk’s parents, who have publicly expressed their dissatisfaction.

Musk’s parents have been no longer married for a long time, and yet they speak with one voice when it comes to their son’s fight. In a recent interview with The Sun, the billionaire’s father, Errol Musk, says this about Elon’s idea:

“If this crazy fight goes ahead, two things can happen. Elon will beat this guy, after all he is taller and bigger. Then everyone will call him a thug (…) And if he loses, it will be his total humiliation. Elon will lose if he wins and will lose if he loses,” he said in a comment for the publication.

Interestingly, the father of the Tesla CEO reveals a surprising detail from the billionaire’s past. Elon Musk was said to have passed the Japanese Karate Association purple belt exam perfectly in the past. According to Errol, the younger Musk “does not have a killer instinct because he cares too much about others.”

Maye Musk, a model and dietitian, and Elon’s mother, also speaks in the same direction, but in a slightly different tone. The woman is very active on Twitter, where she proposes alternatives to a fist fight between two rich men.

“Fight only with words. In armchairs. Four feet (approx. 120 cm) apart. The funniest person wins,” the billionaire’s parent suggested a few days ago.

Previously, the model said that the MMA match “was canceled at her request” and criticized right-wing podcaster Lex Fridman for “hyping people up for this fight.” It is difficult to say which of the comments are the real opinion of Musk’s mother and which are just part of the woman’s online presence.

As we wrote in Wprost.pl, the fight between billionaires was recently confirmed by Dana White, CEO of UFC. The potential host of the billionaire duel was to spend an hour and a half talking to Musk and Zuckerberg simultaneously. As White concluded, both opponents are taking the fight “dead seriously.”

It is worth remembering that Musk has previously called on others to fight, but only through trolling posts on Twitter. Previously, he offered, among others, a fight in the ring with Vladimir Putin in connection with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. However, Zuckerberg decided to call his bluff.
