Around 4 p.m. Polish time, Facebook automatically logged out thousands of users. It is not always possible to log in again: the system does not recognize passwords. Trying to log in using Gmail does not help either – the login system does not recognize any connections to external services.
Later, there were also problems logging in to Instagram.
Meta, the owner of both platforms, is working to fix the problems. The company asks for patience and not to try to change passwords, because not only will it not help you get into your account, but it may mean that when the original settings are restored, the user will no longer be able to log in at all, either with the old or new ones. data.
