Ithaca reveals the cards. New routes from Radom are planned

Tours in Catalonia and other regions of Spain with departure from Radom – such an offer has already appeared in the Itaka travel agency. Everything indicates that next year we will fly from Radom to Barcelona. Although it is worth remembering that Itaka has already canceled flights from this airport.

The company Polskie Porty Lotnicze boasted that in July 22,943 passengers departed from the airport in Radom. This means that after three months of operation, the airport served a total of 50,000 passengers. The two largest low-cost airlines, Ryanair and Wizzair, still do not fly to Radom, but LOT Polish Airlines announced that they will continue regular flights to Paris and Rome in the winter season. At the end of October, charter cruises to Sharm el-Sheikh, organized by the travel agency Anex Tour, are also scheduled to start.

Everything indicates that this is not the end of the news in Radom. The airport assures that it is still working with carriers and travel agencies on the winter offer, and connections for next year’s holidays are also planned. As noted by the fly4free.pl portal, one of the most popular travel agencies in Poland is already offering trips from Radom for the future. Flight offers from Radom have appeared in the Itaka booking system, e.g. to Barcelona. The office offers a tour around Catalonia, but also around the French Côte d’Azur.

The option of departure from the Warsaw-Radom airport in the summer of 2024 is also available, e.g. to Turkey, Albania and Bulgaria. Officially, however, Polish Airports have not yet confirmed that the new routes will be included in the schedule.

Itaka has already resigned from Radom once

It is also worth remembering that Itaka was supposed to fly from Radom also this year, but resigned from most of the routes offered. In mid-April, the tour operator canceled the possibility of buying trips from Warsaw-Radom to the Greek islands of Kos and Crete and to Taba in Egypt. Later, Itaka also resigned from launching charter flights from Radom to Monastir in Tunisia. The reason given by the office was low customer interest in this connection. Alternative departure points were offered to the few who were interested.
