“It’s better to walk on the roof and take photos of the sunrise than to faint naked in front of the police and run away to Italy for two years” – with these words Dariusz Matecki decided to comment on the incident with his participation.

On Friday morning, June 14, the media reported that a mysterious figure had been spotted on the roof of the Sejm that night. – There was an incident, someone was on the roof where he shouldn’t have been, because at 3. or 4. No one should be on the roof – said Szymon Hołownia, pointing out that he is waiting for the Marshal’s Guard report on this matter.

Dariusz Matecki decided to solve the puzzle. The deputy of Sovereign Poland admitted that it was he who walked on the roof of the parliament hotel at night. He clarified that the incident did not take place at 3-4 a.m., but at 5-6 a.m.

When asked about the reason for this rather unusual behavior, the politician replied that he wanted to take a photo so that the view would be nice. He showed the photo to an RMF FM journalist. According to the reporter’s description, it was a classic selfie with a sunrise in the background.

Earlier, he told journalists that the state of violation of the rule of law in Poland was better visible from above. He also assured that he was sober at that moment. – I took a photo and returned to the room – he emphasized.

When asked by one of the journalists whether he had seen anyone walking on the roof of the Sejm hotel in the morning, Dariusz Matecki replied without a moment’s hesitation that “he is unique.”

Wirtualna Polska found out that Matecki talked about the whole matter with the party leader Patryk Jaki. “He clarified the matter with him,” journalists report. The SP MP was to report the event as he would to journalists – he said that he had climbed to the roof of the parliamentary hotel to take a photo of the rising sun. He stood on the balcony, behind the railing. And that’s all.
