Michał Kołodziejczak had a big mistake. The deputy minister's words were a hit on the Internet

Michał Kołodziejczak presented to journalists the findings that were made during the meeting of government representatives with protesting farmers. At the same time, the deputy minister made a big mistake.

Michał Kołodziejczak accompanied Donald Tusk and Czesław Siekierski during the meeting with farmers. After the talks, the deputy minister of agriculture told journalists about the arrangements. By the way, he also referred to the farmers' protest in Warsaw, during which there were riots and clashes with the police. In response to the aggressive behavior of some demonstration participants, officers used pepper spray and stun grenades.

Kołodziejczak met with farmers. He made a mistake

In the opinion of Michał Kołodziejczak, “it was a show of power comparable to that used by one of the ancient leaders.” The politician decided to invoke – as he put it – one of the greatest leaders in the history of the world. – When Charles of Macedon had such a problem that he had much fewer troops than the other side, he demonstrated the drill of his army. The other side was so afraid of the well-organized drill that it simply withdrew, said the deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Thus, he made a big mistake because the character he mentioned never existed. Michał Kołodziejczak probably had Alexander of Macedon in mind, who actually used a similar maneuver during one of the battles – the Macedonians' drill demonstration led to the retreat of the enemy troops.

Michał Kołodziejczak commented on his mishap on social media.

Michał Kołodziejczak announced changes to the Green Deal

Michał Kołodziejczak told journalists that the European Commission will most likely agree to changes in the Green Deal. – There is a high probability of abandoning these most harmful regulations. The most controversial thing is fallowing, we have a lot of indications that there will be a departure – said Michał Kołodziejczak.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture emphasized that Poland must limit the inflow of food products from Ukraine, and the Ukrainian side must understand that this will also be beneficial for them in the context of relations with our country.
