Road engineers boast that they have made progress on the construction of a new section of the S12 expressway from the border of the province. Łódź and Masovian Voivodeships to Przysucha. We know some of the assumptions regarding the new section of the road.
The construction of the S12 expressway will facilitate travel between the western and eastern borders of the country and, therefore, the countries of the European Union and Ukraine. The road will start at the junction with the A1 motorway near Piotrków Trybunalski and end at the border crossing in Dorohusk. The expressway will run near: Sulejów, Opoczno, Radom, Puławy, Lublin and Chełm.
The new section will be 14.4 km long
Currently, drivers already use nearly 94 km of the S12 in the province. GDDKiA informs that a tender for the next section of S12 in the province is expected to be announced within the next month. Masovian Voivodeship: Przysucha – Wieniawa, 15.1 km long. They also remind that the S12 expressway will be implemented as part of the Government National Road Construction Program until 2030 (with a perspective until 2033).
