Polish soldiers who used weapons on the Polish-Belarusian border got into serious trouble. PiS does not hide its outrage over the incident.
At the turn of March and April, a scandal occurred at the Polish-Belarusian border. The Military Police allegedly detained three soldiers who fired warning shots at the advancing group of migrants. – Three boys from the company were led away in handcuffs like bandits. Proceedings were initiated against two of them and they were suspended. They were released from custody only because we organized a collection in the battalion to get them a lawyer, because the commander was not interested in helping them in any way – said the Onet informant who was the first to notify about the case.

The reports were confirmed by the Ministry of National Defense. According to information from the ministry, all three soldiers are currently at large. However, they were previously accused of exceeding their powers and endangering the lives and health of other people. Moreover, the prosecutor decided to suspend them from their duties and place them under the supervision of a military superior.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that the detention of soldiers is absolutely unacceptable. The minister added that military officers patrolling the border must be sure that legal procedures protect them.

Radosław Fogiel also did not hide his outrage. – We are dealing with an absolute scandal if the prosecutor's office, if the Military Police, pursues soldiers who defend the border, but also defend their health and life – said the PiS politician.
The MP also referred to other incidents near the border. – A soldier stabbed, a soldier who is in a serious condition after being hit in the head by a branch… Perhaps they are the victims of the fact that when their colleagues defended themselves against the threat, they were detained in handcuffs in front of all their comrades in arms. Today, this may paralyze not only soldiers, but also the Border Guard, he said.
Radosław Fogiel announced that PiS politicians will carry out parliamentary inspections at the Ministry of Justice and probably also at the Ministry of Defense. – We want to find out what happened during these two weeks. Both of these cases and the allegations against the soldiers are a scandal and should never have happened, he concluded.
