Polish volleyball players are back in the game. Here is the schedule of the Wagner Memorial

The Hubert Wagner Memorial starts in Krakow from next Friday (ie August 18). The volleyball event attracted the strongest teams from Europe to the capital of Lesser Poland. We bring the schedule closer and who and when the Biało-Czerwoni will play their matches.

Let us remind you that the Polish volleyball team, after a spectacular victory in the League of Nations, got a few days off to recharge their batteries before the next important challenges in the personnel season. The Biało-Czerwoni started training again on the weekend of August 4-5, landing at the training camp in Zakopane.

The fans will see Poles on the pitch again this weekend. The occasion will be exceptionally interesting, because the 20th edition of the Hubert Wagner Memorial will be held in Krakow. So in memory of the man who won both the Olympic gold (1976) and the world championship (1974) with Polish volleyball players.

In Krakow’s Tauron Arena, apart from the White and Reds, fans will be able to watch the leading teams from the Old Continent. There will be world and European champions, i.e. Italy, Olympic champions France and those with whom Poles find it extremely difficult to play – the Slovenian team. Three days of playing and an interesting test for the team of coach Nikola Grbic.

The memorial named after the legendary coach of the White and Reds has been held since 2003. Since 2016, the event has been hosted in Krakow. Previously, there was in Toruń, Płock, Katowice, Łódź, Olsztyn and Zielona Góra.

Polish volleyball players will start on August 28. The event is scheduled from August 28 to September 16. Before the Biało-Czerwoni play for the tournament stake, they will pass the last friendly test in Poland. Still between the Krakow memorial and the departure towards the ME game.

In the Atlas Arena in Łódź on August 26, Biało-Czerwoni will play against Ukraine. The start of the duel is scheduled for 18:00.
