Strong words from Morawiecki. “Prosecutor Bodnar has blood on his hands”

Mateusz Morawiecki assessed that what happened at the turn of March and April on the Polish border could be “called a disgrace, a scandal and an action against the Polish raison d'état.” He assessed that Donald Tusk and his entire government should bear the highest responsibility for this.

During Thursday's visit to the border town of Dubicze Cerkiewne, he addressed the soldiers who defend the Polish border. He referred to the death of one of the servicemen who was stabbed by a foreigner at the barrier. – If there is a cause, there is also an effect. (…) Someone had previously acted in such a shameful way that these soldiers were handcuffed. If these soldiers are afraid to defend themselves and the border against the attack of illegal migrants, and indeed against the attack of Lukashenko and Putin, such situations will occur – said the PiS politician.

Morawiecki wants Tusk to resign. He stated that Bodnar had “blood on his hands”

– The government hid information about the arrest of soldiers for over two months. It's simple. This heinous act took place at the end of March, which means they were afraid it would influence the elections. They wanted to hide this situation before the European Parliament elections. This shows that those currently in power play in the Kremlin orchestra. Everything we are dealing with makes soldiers afraid of taking effective defensive actions, continued Mateusz Morawiecki.

– Thank you on behalf of the Republic of Poland, on behalf of all Poles, for your brave attitude, for not hesitating to defend us, our borders, despite what the current government is doing. And what do they do? They are calling, prosecutor Bodnar, who has blood on his hands in what happened, is appointing a team to detect such behavior of soldiers that may lead to the soldiers being arrested – said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

The former prime minister said that “Tusk was showing off on the border” and at the same time, soldiers in handcuffs were being taken into custody. – Is this their “Shield East”? This is not just blasphemy and disgrace. This is a disgrace to Donald Tusk's government, he concluded.
