The Hard Rock chain is building a hotel. She didn’t try to avoid obvious associations
A hotel in the shape of a guitar. Such a facility is being built in Florida and raises a lot of controversy. Some say the idea is interesting and ambitious, others say this nightmare is probably visible from space.
Let’s imagine a meeting of architects and investors of a new Hard Rock Cafe hotel in Hollywood, Florida. It had to last a maximum of five minutes and go something like this:
– What do you associate with rock music? investors asked,
“Guitar,” one of the designers replied.
– So let’s build a hotel in the shape of a guitar. Thank you, end of meeting.
Hotel, casino and concert hall
A large guitar will not only catch the eye because of its original appearance. It is also intended to attract tourists with its interior. Inside, apart from high-standard hotel rooms, the investor has planned as many as 30 bars and restaurants, a huge casino with over 3,000 slot machines, 193 tables and 46 rooms for poker tournaments, and… a concert hall. All this will be culminated in a system of swimming pools surrounding the building, resembling a lagoon. The whole area will occupy over 4 hectares.
How much did the project cost? It is estimated that the investor had to invest up to USD 1.5 billion to build this complex. The first reservations can be made on July 24 this year.
