Recent years have shown that the Italian national team matches the Polish team in high-stakes matches. During the first tournament of this year's Nations League, the Polish national team faced Italy in Antalya, Turkey. They won 3:0 (28:26, 25:23, 25:21). In the most important moments, our team played brilliantly, because let us remind you that it could have just as easily lost the first set, because the Italians were already leading 21:16, and then 24:22. Despite such a poor situation, the Poles made up for their losses, which later boosted them even more. The end result is very good.
Four Nations League matches are behind us
The victory of the Polish national team means that among the 16 teams after the first round, Stefano Lavarini's players will definitely be in the top eight of the Nations League. Apart from the Italy-Poland match, three other matches have been played so far.
In two of them, the clear dominance of individual teams could be seen. China defeated South Korea 3-0, winning each set by at least nine points. The victory of the Dutch against the Bulgarians was also certain, because in this case the winners did not lose any game.
Oranje showed their strength, and let us remind you that before the start of the Nations League, they played two friendly matches with the Polish national team. The Brazilian team also recorded their first triumph, beating Canada 3-1.

As for the Polish national team, Stefano Lavarini's players will play their next match on Friday, May 17. Then they will face France.
