The largest e-sports event in Poland is starting. Poles return to the stage after an 8-year break

Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024 starts today! The event, long awaited by players, came again to Spodek and MCK. After an 8-year break, we will be able to support the Polish team again. Let’s check what the tournament schedule will bring us.

After an intense week of competition, ENCE players defeated their competitors from e-sports teams Astralis, Vitality and G2, securing a place in the playoffs. Now Spodek in Katowice will again become an arena for e-sports competition. Four players from Poland – Paweł “dycha” Dych, Kacper “kylar” Walukiewicz, Krzysztof “goofie” Górski and Olek “hades” Miśkiewicz – have a chance to fulfill their dreams and go down in the history of e-sports. This is the first such opportunity for Polish fans since 2016. The total prize pool in the tournament is one million dollars!

Katowice has long been considered the capital of Polish e-sports. Every year, this city attracts players and fans from all over the world. This year’s competition will be available not only to those who will be there, but also to a wide range of viewers on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube. Additionally, tournament participants can count on free entries to the IEM Expo at the International Congress Center, where they will have the opportunity to learn about e-sports, modern technologies, meet other enthusiasts and try their hand at one of the most popular games.
