This Sunday we will vote for candidates in the European Parliament elections. The latest survey gives food for thought.

The European Parliament elections will be held in Poland on June 9. We will elect 53 MEPs who will represent our country for the next 5 years. At the end of the campaign, there is a fierce fight, and candidates for the European Parliament organize elections in the districts from which they are running.

Recent weeks have been full of events in national politics. The escape of former judge Tomasz Szmydt or the confusion related to the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border are just some of them. Although the emotive events are not directly related to the demands brought to Brussels by future MEPs, their actions may translate into electoral preferences.

European Parliament elections. The latest survey

The Opinia24 studio conducted a study commissioned by “Fakty” TVN and TVN24. They were asked to indicate the electoral committee whose candidate they were considering voting for in the European Parliament elections.

A new survey shows that 34 percent of respondents want to vote for the Civic Coalition. 32 percent declare support for Law and Justice. The podium in this ranking is closed by Confederation, which has 10 percent support. 9 percent of respondents want to vote for the Third Way (i.e. the coalition of Poland 2050 by Szymon Hołownia and the Polish People's Party led by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz).

The next place in this study is taken by the Left with a result of 8 percent. 2 percent of respondents want to vote for the Nonpartisan Local Government – Normal Poland in Normal Europe committee, while 1 percent of survey participants chose another committee/local committee. The same number of respondents intend to vote for the Polexit committee. 3 percent respondents are undecided

The study was conducted by Opinia24 using CATI telephone interviews on a representative sample of 1,000 Polish residents aged 18 and over on June 4-5, 2024.
