The most expensive house in the world for sale. A piece of land worth one and a half billion zlotys
When it comes to real estate prices, it is said that there are two scales in the world. The general one and the one at which it is priced in Hong Kong. Real estate prices in this place are extremely high compared to the prices of other economic centers in Asia or the most popular locations in the world.
A house was put up for sale in Hong Kong and its price was set at USD 446 million, or over PLN 1.62 billion. If the property finds a buyer, it will be the most expensive house sold in Hong Kong and probably in the world. So far, the most expensive property was Villa Les Cedres, sold last year. A 188-year-old mansion with fourteen bedrooms located in the south of France was sold for $409 million.
The house, which is located on a hill overlooking the city, has only four bedrooms, and the area on which it stands is just over 1,500 square meters. The residence is also not exceptionally luxurious. Decorated in the style of the 1990s, it has a swimming pool and a garage for two cars. The astronomical price of the property is mainly due to the fact that it is one of the few properties that can be bought in Hong Kong. Moreover, it is located in a quiet, secluded place for this city.
According to the people managing the house, the property is so old considering the price at which it can be purchased that the person who decides to buy it will probably demolish it anyway to build a new, more luxurious property in its place.
