The steward died in front of the passengers

A British Airways crew member collapsed and died in front of terrified passengers moments before the plane was scheduled to take off. The plane was scheduled to take tourists from London to Hong Kong on New Year’s Eve.

The captain quickly organized help. It turned out that there was a passenger on board who was qualified to provide first aid. Shocked tourists watched the entire incident, which took place in the galley at the rear of the plane.

Despite the efforts of the passengers, as well as paramedics and policemen called to the scene, the steward could not be saved. The flight was later canceled due to a “medical emergency”. Passengers’ tickets were transferred to subsequent flights.

This is another such case

According to reports, the tragedy occurred just days after the death of another British Airways flight attendant, who was also 52 years old. On December 23, concerned crewmates raised the alarm after one member of their team failed to show up for work. He was later found dead in his hotel room.

British Airways canceled a flight from Newark to Heathrow after the sudden death of a flight attendant, with his devastated colleagues later returning to the UK as passengers.
