This question surprised the PiS politician. "I'm looking for a stall with Polish visas"

The exchange of words between Łukasz Michnik and Błażej Poboży began with the topic of the harvest festival, but quickly became focused on current political topics. – I have already told you everything – said the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

Łukasz Michnik, a local social activist from Olsztyn, who is running for the Sejm from the Left list, asked Błażej Poboży, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, for a moment of conversation. At the beginning of the exchange of words, the politician was asked how he liked the Warmian-Masurian harvest festival.

First, a question about the harvest festival, then about the visa stall. “I’ve already told you everything”

– I really like the harvest festivals here! Great atmosphere, good weather – replied Błażej Poboży. – Do you like the stalls, the atmosphere? – asked the activist. – The atmosphere is great! But I never complain about the atmosphere in Warmia and Masuria, said Poboży.

– Maybe you can help me, because I’m looking for a stall selling Polish visas. Do you know if it is possible to buy a Polish visa somewhere here? – asked Łukasz Michnik. – And you see, in the end, he fits into the narrative of the main opposition media – replied the politician, and then tried to leave. – But as I understand it, the prosecutor’s office is looking for PiS officials? – asked the Left candidate. – I have already told you everything – said Błażej Poboży, cutting off the conversation.

Michnik vs. Poboży. The discussion moved online

Łukasz Michnik published a recording on social media which recorded the course of the described conversation. “I enraged the Pious Minister! At the provincial harvest festival, I asked if he could help me find a stall selling Polish visas,” wrote the author of the recording.

Błażej Poboży did not leave this entry without a comment. “Where did you ‘infuriate’ me? It didn’t work, so you added a smiley (angry – ed.) emoticon? Embarrassing. Just like the fact that you LIED when introducing yourself and asking for an interview,” wrote the politician.

“I’m really Łukasz and the video is really on TikTok! I think you wouldn’t have a problem now if you checked who was working there before parachuting to Olsztyn!” – replied Łukasz Michnik. The discussion didn’t end there.

“Googling doesn’t hurt” vs. “You’re a little liar”

“But the Lord is not working anywhere. I have been in the region longer than you have been in the world. It was the first time I saw you, and I participate in hundreds of meetings in Warmia. The only one from you who appears is Marcin Kulasek. You may have brought him newspapers, but even ineffectively, because only… phrases,” wrote the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, attaching a photo showing the newspaper in the mailbox.

“Googling doesn’t hurt, Minister! Jaroty Housing Cooperative, intervention in Intermarche, dispute in the City Hall, please try!” – Łukasz Michnik replied. “Still nothing. You are a little liar who asked me and my friend to talk because you are a “beginner tiktoker”. And then he manipulated the recording in which I had no negative emotions. You lied about a small matter, you will lie about a big one too. PS. Please clean up the newspapers,” Błażej Poboży summed up. “If you want to see real manipulated recordings, I recommend turning on TVP in the evening!” – replied Łukasz Michnik.

Visa scandal. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement

A social activist from Olsztyn, speaking about the stall and visas, referred to the so-called visa scandal. On Friday, September 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding “false information regarding the visa process.” The extensive document highlights 10 topics.

It was assured, among other things, that “it is not true that in front of the Polish embassy in an African country there was a stand with official stamped documents.” Finally, it was emphasized that “the safety of Polish citizens is an absolute priority in Polish visa policy.”
