We celebrate Easter in 2024 on Sunday, March 31. The following Monday, April 1, is also a holiday and a day off from work. If we plan a trip and set off on, for example, March 29 on Friday afternoon, we will be able to enjoy a longer 3-day weekend. There are some interesting directions worth considering.

Easter trip in Poland

Where is it worth spending Easter in Poland? There will be as many ideas as tourists. We recommend spending this time in relative peace, away from the crowds. In such a case, we would rather advise against Zakopane's Krupówki, Kraków or Gdańsk. However, we have other attractive offers.

Easter by the sea is worth considering, among others: in towns such as Mielno and Kołobrzeg. The first one mentioned is located between the beautiful Lake Jamno and the Baltic Sea. It is a paradise for lovers of sailing boats and water sports. Most importantly, at this time of year there are not as many parties there as during the holidays, and the crowds are much smaller than in the Tricity. In Kołobrzeg, there are many attractions, such as the famous pier and the lighthouse, which will make your walks very varied.

You can also spend Easter in the mountains. Here, we recommend renting a family cottage where you can prepare a Christmas breakfast and admire the majestic views. A hotel with a swimming pool and full board will also be a great option. Successful directions may include: The Świętokrzyskie Mountains and the area around the castle in Chęciny. On site you will also be impressed by, among others: viewing platform on Gołoborz or climbing Łysa Góra. An alternative will be, for example, Karpacz. A holiday in these areas can be both peaceful and active and sporty.

The last option is Easter in Masuria. Here you can relax not only in hotels with swimming pools, but also by walking along many lakes and glades. The best places in this region of Poland will be Mikołajki, Giżycko, Mrągowo, Pisz, Ełk or Szczytno.

Going abroad for Easter

In this case, we were inspired by, among others: an interesting offer of LOT. It turns out that it is worth flying to London for the next Easter holidays. The city is not very far from Poland, so the journey will take little time. Flights to the capital of Great Britain start from PLN 559 both ways. The airline offers dates that fit perfectly into the holiday weekend – between March and April.
