Shortly after the victory, the newly elected mayor of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski, announced that he would not use his predecessor’s company limousine and the Lexus ES 300h would be for sale. It happened. You can still submit offers for a few days.
One of Aleksander Miszalski’s pre-election promises was that he would not use the Lexus used by his predecessor Jacek Majchrowski. Miszalski admitted that he lives close enough to the town hall that he will use a bicycle every day, and when this is not possible, the driver will give him a ride in his company Toyota.

The attention paid to Majchrowski’s company car was not accidental: for many Kraków residents, the car was a symbol of Majchrowski’s snobbery and taste for luxury. He was also one of the richest local government officials in Poland, and this also bothered some Krakow residents. They were irritated by the fact that, on the one hand, the City Hall was making life difficult for drivers (it introduced higher parking rates, limited parking spaces in the very center, and was preparing to introduce a Clean Transport Zone), and on the other, the president was driven everywhere in a large and eye-catching car.
Miszalski had no intention of making his predecessor’s mistake. Tactically, he also noted that although he chooses a bicycle, he does not expect that all residents will suddenly leave their cars in front of the building and switch to a two-wheeler or public transport.

The Lexus ES 300h car, which could prove to be an embarrassing image blemish, will soon be auctioned. The starting price of the car produced in 2019 is PLN 155,000. zloty. The description of the subject of the tender shows that it has only 80,000. km mileage and is in very good technical condition. “Garage kept, no repairs required. Visually, good condition. Minimal individual hail damage visible on chrome elements and the roof. Minor chips on the hood,” reads the description in the ad.
The car can be viewed at the office of the Office’s Service Department at pl. All Saints 3-4 on two dates: June 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and June 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The deadline for submitting offers is June 20 at 10.00.
