Will the president send the budget to the Constitutional Tribunal and call new elections? The Prime Minister comments

Agent Tomek revealed details of the CBA’s activities when he was an agent of the office. Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on these reports in his own style.

On Sunday, Agent Tomek revealed information about the misuse of public funds by the CBA management to pay prostitutes for officers. Roman Giertych announced that the Settlement Team, which he heads, will submit a notification to the prosecutor’s office in this case.

The Prime Minister also commented on the matter. “In Vienna, CBA agents certainly had the opportunity to visit the Art History Museum, listen to Mozart at the Konzerthaus and taste cake at Café Sacher. These are all public places,” wrote Donald Tusk. What did he mean?

What did agent Tomek say about Wąsik?

The Viennese thread appears in a fragment of a conversation in which a former agent of the Central Anticorruption Bureau talks about what public money was spent on. – When the actions were unsuccessful, they were thrown into the mud. The operating fund used by the CBA was also used criminally – said agent Tomek on TVN24.

He cited a trip to Vienna as an example of such a situation. – At the request of Kamiński and Wąsik, I went to Vienna in a company car together with two directors of the operational and investigative board, Mr. Grzegorz P. and Krzysztof B., who are also convicted in the land scandal – reported the former agent.

– The purpose of the visit was apparent, to find a factory producing slot machines. It was just an excuse for these gentlemen to be rewarded for their faithful actions by spending two days in a brothel in Vienna, he continued. – The stay in Vienna was paid for by Polish taxpayers, this trip was not aimed at combating crime – he added.

Agent Tomek, or Tomasz Kaczmarek, worked for the Central Anticorruption Bureau in 2006-10 and was a PiS MP in 2011-2015. In 2021, the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Białystok submitted an indictment to the court in Olsztyn regarding irregularities in the Helper foundation (the main defendants are Kaczmarek and his wife). He himself believes that the foundation’s case is being used politically.
