We know what time Hubert Hurkacz will play. Good news for Poles

Hubert Hurkacz will play in the fourth round of the Australian Open against Arthur Cazaux. The clash will take place just before the morning, which is good news for Polish fans.

Hubert Hurkacz is the last Polish representative in the singles Australian Open. After the unexpected defeat of Iga Świątek, Magdalena Fręch also said goodbye to the event on Sunday. The country’s best tennis player has neither an easy nor a difficult task. Arthur Cazaux has already shown in Melbourne that he can be a dangerous opponent.

Hubert Hurkacz faces another challenge in AO 2024

Over the years, Hurkacz has managed to accustom fans to thrillers. This year’s Australian Open was no different. While the opening match with Omar Jasika went relatively quickly, the fight with Jakub Mensik was a real horror. Ranked 142nd in the ATP ranking, the Czech caused a lot of problems for the Pole, leading to the game in five sets. The next match, with Ugo Humbert, was also a bit of a thriller, as the Frenchman won the first set and led to a tie-break in the third set.

Now Hurkacz is facing Humbert’s compatriot. Arthur Cazaux needed five sets to defeat Laslo Djere in the first round. In the next match, he made one of the biggest surprises of the men’s tournament, eliminating the tournament’s top eight, Holger Rune. In the last match, the 122nd-ranked Frenchman defeated Tallon Griekspooor.

Theoretically, Hurkacz will be the clear favorite of the match, but recent examples, including those of Iga Świątek, have shown that this year’s tournament in Melbourne is full of surprises.
