Banks are planning technical breaks during the weekend. It is better to prepare cash in advance, because cards or online payments may not work.

Six banks have planned technical breaks for the weekend, during which service and maintenance work will be performed on banking websites and applications. Customers may experience problems with the operation of payment cards, access to transaction websites or online payments.

mBank

The break at mBank was planned for the night from Saturday to Sunday, between midnight and 2.00. “The services will be unavailable on the transaction website and on mobile devices,” we read in the bank’s announcement. Between 2:10 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. mBank customers will not pay by card or withdraw cash from an ATM. “You will not pay for online purchases between 2:10 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.,” it was added.

However, this is not the end, between 2:10 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. you will not be able to log in to the online banking website or mobile application. No operation will be possible via mLinia.

“Please, place all important transfers in advance. If you have plans for the weekend, it is best to withdraw cash,” advise mBank representatives.

PKO BP

The break at PKO BP bank will start on Sunday at midnight and will last until 12.00. During this time, the following will be unavailable: iPKO online service, PKO Junior website and mobile application, as well as transfers and payments in online stores.

“The IKO application will only work for contactless payments, Blik payments and displaying account balances,” say the bank’s representatives.

Bank Pekao

A technical break at Pekao bank is scheduled for the night from Saturday to Sunday. It will start at 11.30 p.m. and last until 6 a.m. During this time, the Pekao24 website and the PeoPay application will be unavailable. The PeoPay KIDS application will also not work.

Another, this time two-hour break, is scheduled for Sunday and will start at 8 p.m. The bank will not provide notifications during this time.

Santander Bank Polska

Santander Bank Polska customers will not log in to online banking and the mobile application on Saturday, between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.

ING Bank Śląski

The break at ING bank will start on Sunday and will last from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. According to the bank, there may be interruptions in the execution of Blik deposit transactions and ATM withdrawals from the Planet Cash/ING network. In turn, on the night from Sunday to Monday, from 0:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., there will be interruptions in processing transactions at Planet Cash/ING network ATMs.

BNP Paribas

The break is scheduled for the night from Saturday to Sunday, from 1:00 a.m. to 2:59 a.m. During this time, some services will not work, including: Blik payments, online payments such as PaybyLink and PaybyNet, PayU Express, phone transfer and express elixir.

VeloBank

The break will start on Friday at 23.30 and lasts until 7.35. Difficulties will include online banking, mobile banking, Blik and the online card payment option.

BOŚ Bank

On Friday, from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, the BOŚBank24 and TeleBOŚ system and mobile applications will be unavailable.

Postal Bank

The break at the post office will start on Saturday at 10 p.m. and will last until midnight. Customers must take into account interruptions in access to online and mobile banking services. During this time, the following will be unavailable: Blik mobile payments,

Nest Bank

The break is planned for the night from Saturday to Sunday, from 0.30 to 2.30. Meanwhile, online banking and the mobile application will operate in order acceptance mode. “This means that you will be able to log in to online banking or the mobile application, but the current account balance or transfer execution will be available after the work is completed,” we read in the announcement.
