Who can Poland play against at EURO 2024? Check the potential schedule of the White and Reds
The Polish national team got to know its potential rivals in the group stage of EURO 2024. Although the path to advancement leads through two phases of play-offs, the schedule of matches in Group D of the European Championships is already known. One thing is certain – June will be full of football.
Polish players unexpectedly did not advance directly to the EURO 2024 championship. After poor performances, among others, against the Moldova team, Michał Probierz’s players must look for a chance to play in the German tournament through the play-offs. In March, the White and Reds will play first against Estonia, and then (if they win) against the winner of the clash between Wales and Finland.
We know the Poles’ schedule for EURO 2024 after possible promotion
In case of defeat against the Estonians, Poland will play a mandatory sparring with the loser of the Welsh-Finnish match. Nevertheless, Wisła fans are strongly thinking about the potential vision of playing on German pitches in June next year. Although all participants of the tournament are not yet known, the draw for the group stage of the event took place on Saturday, December 2.
Poland (or any other Polish play-off team) was placed in group D. The Dutch, Austrians and French are already there. The latter in particular can be a hell of a rival, as these are the world champions from 2018 and the runners-up from 2022.
The possible first match at EURO 2024 would be played by Poles on Sunday, June 16, 2024 in Hamburg, and the rival would be the Netherlands, led by former FC Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman. The next match is a duel in Berlin with Austria (June 21), and the last match of the group phase will take place on June 25 in Dortmund against France.

The opening match of EURO 2024 will take place in Munich on June 14. The Germans and the Scots will face each other. The final is scheduled for July 14 in Berlin.
